HOW TO TIE THE EGG-SUCKING LEECH STEELHEAD FLY

It's a leech, it's an egg, it's a leech eating an egg. That is at least 2 or 3 major food groups. All species of salmon, steelhead, largemouth bass and large trout attack them with abandon. This is the Zonker-style leech with a rabbit strip wing and tail. They can also be tied Woolly Bugger style with a marabou tail and palmered hackle body. Our favorite colors are purple and black. Put some in your fly box. Use them. Enough said!
