HOW TO TIE LAWSON'S WESTERN BROWN PARADRAKE

DRY FLY: LAWSON'S WESTERN BROWN DRAKE PARADRAKE
The famous Western Brown Drake pattern with extended body created by Mike Lawson for the Henry's Fork of the Snake in Idaho.  The extended body will look horrible the first couple times you tie it, but the learning curve is quick. Tip: It's all about the amount of Elk Hair you use - it takes practice.

HOOK SIZES: 10,12

HOOK OPTIONS: Tiemco 100BL Barbless, Tiemco 100

THREAD: Brown 3/0

WING: Dark Grey Elk Hair

TAIL: Dark Moose Tail Fibers

BODY: Brown Elk Hair

HACKLE: Grizzly Dyed Golden wrapped parachute style

HEAD CEMENT: Dave's Flexament brushed over the elk hair body for durability
